Plan terms
Plan terms
These are the terms of the plans Stem Shovel offers. You accept the terms of the plan you choose when you create an account; they sit alongside the copyright and acceptable-use policy and the privacy policy, which apply to every account.
Free plan
- No charge, ever. The Free plan has no subscription cost and no trial period, and creating an account asks for no payment or card details.
- What it holds. Unlimited projects, songs and ideas; 20 GB of stored files (stems, demo recordings and Idea Recorder takes; the playback versions we make from them are not counted); up to 6 members of any role; unlimited viewers through shared links.
- When a limit is reached. An upload that would pass the storage limit is refused with a message until files are removed; invitations pause while every seat is taken. Nothing you have uploaded is removed for you.
- Support is by email through the Help page, answered as we are able.
- Changes to the plan. We may add to what the Free plan includes at any time. We will not reduce its storage or member limits for an existing account without at least 90 days' notice by email.
- Ending an account. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from its settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the copyright and acceptable-use policy.
Professional plan
Not yet available. Its terms will appear here before it launches, and choosing it will always be a separate, explicit step; no account is moved onto a paid plan on its own.
Founder accounts
The first accounts ever created are founder accounts: never charged, no storage or member limit, and every feature Stem Shovel ever adds. Founder status stays with the account for as long as it exists.
